Not meant to be derogatory. 86460boy being 15 was startling but refreshing. A 12 year old might cause feelings of inadequacy amongst us ol' timers.

And off-topic- (not that that ever stopped me before), the claims these new Sketchers with the rounded sole make remind me of the "Run faster , Jump higher" claims of the Ked's of old.... "We now return you to the current reality already in progress...."

I'm with you there. My 80 and 2 replacements I have dealt with off Ebay didn't have the extra digit and rolled over at 99,999.9. A 064000.0 would in all probability be original. That's not 100% because I just got through playing with one with less digits and was able to take it apart and re-assemble it set to 00000.5. The tenth of a mile was a PITA to mess with so I left it alone.
BTW- 3 times between Oregon and Texas. I'm assuming the worst and it wound up in Oregon?
