Looking to get a gauge pod for my 1999 SuperDuty. Saw some really nice ones from a company called Glow Shift. Nicely priced also. Just curious if anyone here is using the Glow Shift and also how accurage are the electrical gauges vs mechanical. Thanks for any info..

Sorry never heard of them. Got "Autometer" on mine and if they are anything like these, there is lots of fabricating to get them to fit. Good luck. Which ones are you going to put in?
Got the pod for mine from glow shift, ordered my gauges from autometer. The pods from glowshift will fit right over the stock piece on the pillar so you dont even have to remove it. I think most of the guys would say stay with a better quality guage, but I have seen a few guys running the glowshift guage without problem. It comes down to your pocket book I guess.
I would go with a gauge I knew and trusted. Autometer, ispro stuff like that. You get what you pay for. I have the Autometer full pillar replacement that holds 3 gauges, fits great and I got the paint to match the interior. Looks factory.
Auto Meter pod and gauges here. I left my pod black because there's a lot of black trim in my interior (dash, doors, seats, carpet, etc) so it matched fine.
Read a post mths ago from some one who has the glow shift gauges and he really likes them. I plan on installing them too. I want the the mechanicals on the A pillar and going to install the electrical above the mirror..I had a couple oil temp gauges from Auto Zone in my last truck didn't think they were all that great for accuracy.

At the moment thinking about water temp, trans temp and oil pressure.
A recent thread on the Glow Shifts were on the 7.3 forum. General consensus seemed good, and the guy that put them in really liked them.
Another option, granted it's for only two gauges, is this Autometer dash bezel. I like it for its clean and almost factory looking appearance. I mounted my Isspro boost and pyro gauges.
just got the glow shift triple pod and gauges for christmas ill let ya know how the fitment is,the gauges look good but the pod seems kinda cheap but i will see when i put it in

Let us know how you like the gauges, it sounds like having the different color options would be awesome..

i have the glow shift pod i ordered the 7 colour gauges with it and they hit the pillar and stuck out. i informed them and they sent me the blue led gauges for free. after a couple months the leds started burning out. i now have had vdo gauges for over a year and love them with no problems.
