Just traded my 6.0 in for the new 6.4....love it so far...but...noticed both headlights have moisture buildup in the bottom/side of lenses...don't recall that on my 6.0...is this normal?
This tech bulliten may apply to your situation: Film on inside of headlight:
Some 2008 F-SuperDuty trucks may have headlights that appear foggy, smokey or seem to have a film on the inside of the lens. Replace affected parts with ones with a date stamp of 8-20-07 or later. Broadcast Message 0351.
It talks about the 08. Your sig says you got an 2010 model. At any rate I would take it in and have them replaced right away. They can eventually get so bad that it will be hard to see at night and the rust factor.
hey senix, mine get moisture in the bottom corners of them as well. they look fine as far as a film on the inside? is the film like window tint or film as in moisture??
i also have a trailer wiring fault popping up everytime i hit the brakes that is very annoying... ill have to look up, we have got some mild weather in the last day and the salt must be going to work now?

I think the moisture is how it starts and then it will start to haze over, sorta like a fog in the lens area I guess. If you still have warranty then I would get them to take care of it. Those headlights are gonna be expensive.
Trailer fault is either gonna be the controller itself or maybe some moisture in the plug is my guess.
When I installed the Xenon flash bulbs in my light lenses I had a moisture problem due to the seals not working well. To fix the issue, I took the complete headlight assy. off, blew air with a hair dryer through the lenses for a while until they were dry and then used silicone sealant around my new holes.
I know your situation is involving stock/unmodified lenses but if you feel like it, take them off, dry them out thoroughly, and check the gaskets surrounding the bulbs.
Follow up to my original post: So dealer says that Ford has a graph that lets them know when the headlights need to be replaced. Minimum 50% coverage of moisture or standing water requires replacement. I didn't have that. Explained to dealer that was pretty disappointing since the truck was 10 days old and he agreed. Told me he thought it would get worse than better and come back before my warranty is up to get new headlights.
does anybody know if there is a TSB #from ford about this, mine is in the shop right now and the service writer said she cant do anything just based on the bulletin so if anyone has had this done and could give some factual info that i can give them then im out of gas..

Don't remember if there was a TSB. I had my driver's side replaced. The proceedure was to take the truck to the shop, have it inspected, order the assembly if it was bad and take the truck back in when they had the part..
Since it's more than an hour to my dealer, I made a deal with the service writer. I asked him to order the assembly ahead of time on the condition that I'd pay for it if it didn't meet the criteria for warranty replacement. Needless to say, I didn't have to pony up for the new assembly. I did have to go back and have the aim adjusted next time I was down that way.
