The best BBQ comes from Kansas City not Texas.

That's neither hilarious or true gentlemen. The best BBQ comes from my backyard!

If one were to Google "National Championship Barbecue Cookoff", I somehow doubt Kansas City or Tim's back yard would show up on the fist page.

Now I'm hungry again.

My son lives in Katy, TX right outside of Houston. Many good Mom and Pop places, but I personally like the Saltgrass restraurants for steak and ribs the way you want them!

I sure like visiting Texas. I have a bunch of friends in the DFW area. The BBG is good but the Tex Mex is better. Have fun Bunny.

You guys are all nuts! First off, the best bbq does not come from any restaurant, or your back yard. It comes off of my neighbors bbq pit when he goes back in the house for plates and silverware,(but you have to be quick).
Secondly, Bill Millers is a chain restaurant and they have always had good food every time I have eaten there. (Yes Bunny, I still sit at that same table) Now, I will check and see if there is a "Texas Land and Cattle" in the Dallas or Houston area and let you know,,They have a GREAT steak for a fair price.

Well, KT,,, It's good to know that some things haven't changed!! And you're right,,, that was pretty good BBQ!! If I were going to San Antone, I'd know exactly where to go!!! But, I don't know if there's a Bill Miller's in Houston or Dallas!! Guess I'll have to Google them!!! Texas Land and Cattle too! Thanks!!

Too bad I'll be down after football season!! Would have been fun to catch a game!!!
