Xmas dinner has been canceled due to the weather they may try next weekend went to my parents place today drove thru some drifts on the hiway but still it's not good to be on the road today or night.

We were going to have Christmas in Beloit, while we were loading up, my parents called and said they thought they could get out, but they were nearly certain, given the rate of snow, and wind, they wouldn't get home, so they were just going to stay home, and thought maybe we should call off our family Christmas for this week. I told them I would talk it over with Julie, I could tell Mom was really disappointed, and I could tell Julie was too. Then Julie said.. What if you drive the Jeep, and go get your parents.. (MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME WOO HOO I GET TO DRIVE THE JEEP)
Mom Perked right up, well, yeah.. that might work.
Dad said he would drive into town, and If I used the the Jeep to bust snow drifts, he thought he could get back home. So we met them in Beloit. we didn't have any problems getting out to the farm, so Dennis and I had to go searchin for some snow drifts to bust.
we found one.. about 50 foot long, about 3 foot deep, and about 20 feet wide..
I got all the way to the middle of it, and lost momentum.. then I asked him if we should put it in 4x4..
I put it in 4x4 and had no problems bustin through the rest of it. It was a blast!

In the course of 2 days I have pulled out of snow drifts and deep snow.

2 Chevy 1500 Hybrid
This is what I get when I'm the only guy with a full size pickup with 4wd and half way decent all terrain tires... and a bed full of snow, sand, and some cinderblocks.
