if you want a greesable joint go aftermarket.
I have done them in a parking lot befor with a hammer and a 2x4. I didnt even need a backyard or a tree.

Haven't needed to do this YET...but I hear MOOG is a popular option.

They happen to be the OEM for a lot of trucks.
I had a lot of fun crossing Manufacturer PNs with the Moog parts... and then buying it for a fraction of the cost from the dealer.
If the U-Joint is gone, chances are the bearing is also gone --- do both at the same time and save some work.
Rattle it around.. see how loose it is.. that is the cause of the groaning... noise.
Thumping noise is U-joint.

I replaced all of mine, front and rear driveshaft, with SPICER brand u-joints. These are what the NAPA parts were. They're all greasable, so far so good.

One of the best online catalogs is Rock Auto:
RockAuto Parts Catalog
On most parts, they show you a picture.
Watch out for this;
Chinese / Indian made clones that are cheap... but have not much warranty.
Also beware when they show multiple parts that are not obvious that they fit exactly the same.
For these cases, I go back to the dealer and insist on the Ford Bagged part.
