for an FE block book i dont think a 391 will be in that...its likely an industrial block..actually come to think of it i have big book on industrial crap.....so if you need to know about the 361, 370, or 391 i can provide that.
391 is an FT motor. The Steve Christ book has info on both the 391 and 410. The 410 was a 428 crank in a 390 block. The 428(410) crank is externally balanced. The book also discusses FE/FT differences.
i'm pretty sure its 390 rods with different pistons.....if your plannin on building one i suggest not...its actually a bit of a run around...seeings how the 390 is internally and the 428 is externally....see if you can get an offset grind on your 390 crank...btw i'm building a couple of 390's so i have pistons...if you want something
