1 What is the differance with the 351M and 400 crank I know the 400 is bigger but someone said the 351M is a softer metal than the 400 is that true?
2 who makes valves for the 351C 2V heads Summit and Jegs dont sell them.
3 should i stay with the 351C 2V heads or get some 351C 4V heads what is the hp and tq gains with the 4Vs?
4 Has anyone ever heard of D.U.I(Davis Unified Ignition) distributors it looks just like the chevy distributor the ad for it says
one wire hook up
includes 50,000 volt coil
no spark box
water mud and vibration proof
and a lot more
The 351M crank has 1/2" less stroke than the 400. The 351 has a 3.5" stroke and the 400 has a 4". You can get heads that are called Aussie cleveland 2V heads that are said to work good but I dont know where to get them. Dont go with the 4V heads because they are good for power but they are made for about 4500 RPM and above so they are out of the question for a 351M and street use or even some mudding.
