Cold start problem after reflash

I have been having a cold starting problem since I had my truck in to recalibrate the speedometer for the larger tires I put on. The truck will fire like normal after letting the glow plug light turn off. It dies after I let of the starter. I proceed to crack the start again without turning the key to the off position and it fires right up. The truck is sitting for about 13 hr and temps have been single digits to the 20's. Seems odd to me that after the flash I have a problem now.

Any ideas for places for me to look?
Is there a way to check to see if the the glow plugs are working?

See if there is any codes thrown. That might let you in on your problem.

i do get a code 0600. FICM Odd that Ford didn't see that code.

Was the code po600 or po611. Guess I am not familiar with the 600?

I would check the voltage on the FICM and make sure it is over 45 volts. If they are under then it would cause the hard cold start.

P0600 Serial Communication Link Malfunction from here Ford OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Codes - Overview .: Articles in the tech folder. Can't help with what it is though. I think P0611 is FICM performance code?
