GPCM = Glow Plug Control Module
Ok,
So you do have custom tunes. I think the first thing that needs to be done is to fix those glow plug issues. I can start my truck unplugged on overnights like we have had the past few days. I just cycle the glow plugs twice and have no issues. I never run my truck for 15 minuites every 2 hours. I never had any fear of the truck not starting.

Hey gang, I have a fairly stock 2006, and I have no coolant loss, do not plug it in at all, in fact I have never plugged it in, I change my fuel filters every 3000-4000 miles just because of the work I do, but here recently I have been noticing the same, White smoke like crazy until you get her all warmed up and then it just quits? Am I assuming correct that if it were a Head issue that the smoke would not just go away? What would make the EGR system blow white smoke? I am in the northern WV southern PA area, so its cold but not NY cold. I would like to get it figured out though before I roll over my warranty mileage. Any and all help is appreciated!

I would say if you have no coolant loss then it probably is not egr or head gaskets. That's if you have NO cooant loss. I would plug it in and see if that made a difference as well as see if the latest flash would help. Does it smell like fuel or coolant? Maybe just emission in the cold. Hard to say, how cold is it? See if there is any codes thrown. Usually with HD failure you would be blowing coolant out of the degas bottle and if it was an egr cooler failure your coolant level would lose some over time.
