HID lights installed

Hello everybody,
Before I PCS'd to Italy I decited to upgrade the lights on the Expy. I went with HID for the lows, highs and the driving lights. I only had enough time to install the lows and the driving light before I had to ship the expy. The results were amazing no problems with connecting, no electrical issues, I wish I had done this mod years earlier!! I went with diamond white (6000K), i'm not into the blue tint in the lights. I finnaly had the time to install the HID to the hi-beam on the Expy 2 weeks ago. The installation went as smooth as the previous install, but now the hi beam indicator in the instrument cluster has a slight glow to it. Also, most of the times the driving lights will not come back on when you use the hi beams. I have to manually turn them off and back on for them to turn back on. I've always thought that when you have a slight glow on one of your lights indicator in the cluster (head light/turn signal) it meant that the bulb went bad. Do the HID use less wattage that the Expy thinks that the bulb is bad? Has anyone done all 3 lights on there Expy and run into the same problem?
One more thing I also want to do the driving light mod where the driving lights stay on even if you turn on your hi-beams, all I have seen is instructions for 02 and below. Has anyone done this on a 03 and above? How to instructions would be great.
Thanks in advance for any info. Here are some pics of the install of the HID's;

Looks awesome! I would like to convert mine over. Where did you get yours, and about how much can I expect to spend?

jdecker, I purchased the kits from ebay. The total was 180.00 for all 3 lights with free shipping (each kit purchased seperatly). The seller is a stand up seller, one of the ballast had a faulty connection, I emailed him with my problem and he promply sent a replacement ballast. The install is very easy, all plug and play. the only mod that was done was to make a small hole on the two larg rubber grommets on the back side of the head light so the wires can pass though (as you can see in the pic) which I sealed with black RTV adhesive/sealant.

resurrected!

just got some ddm tuning 9006 hid's today. 6000k, 35w. installing tonight, as i'm taking a trip to honey brook pa tomorrow night. sticking with the stock halogen high beams, since when i had a remote start unit installed, somehow the tech did something, so my lows stay on when the highs are activated.

Who was the seller you dealt with?

Where did you mount the Ballast for the main headlights?

I was thinking of starting with the Fog Light/DRL's, lots of space down there.
