Help please 2010 stereo upgrade
My 08 xlt truck has gone back and I received a 2010 XLT SC, with base stereo, has four speakers cd, sat radio, and it stinks, I can honestly say this the worst factory stereo I have heard since the 90's.
It's a company truck so I cannot change out the HU. I have from my 08 4 replacement speakers I will install and an 8 inch JL sub/box, 2 amps.
I need help on what else I need to hook up.
Are there connectors which couple the factory harness on the HU to tap in the sub amp and speaker amp I have?
I've read I need a processor?
I'd like to DIY to save cash, advice appreciated.
