idm mod and 97 steering column

has anyone tried to do the 140 idm mod or repaired a wobbling 97 steering column?? if so i would greatly appreciate any pointers

Many of us in the arkansas chapter have done the idm 140 mod, myself included.

Can't really offer any pointers on the steering column, but the idm mod isn't too bad. How steady are you with a soldering iron?

never really messed with soldering iron much never on circuit boards

I've done several IDM 140's and Joe is a soldering machine. I've even got a few resistors left if you want one. Coming to any of the gtg's this year?

I just installed my swamps IDM which has the 140 mod done to it. Made a really big difference for throttle response. Smoother idle, and with wide open throttle seems to pull steady and hard. My truck had the original 17 yr old IDM and it may have been getting weak. Could be why I got such a huge difference
