Is brake bleeding tool any good. ????

I'm thinking I should buy myself a Christmas gift, and this just might be it - Motive Products Shopping Cart Ford Three Prong Bleeder 0107

I like that it only take one person to use.

Has anyone used one before, and is it worth the money ?

Something else to consider is these Speed Bleeder Bleeding Brakes Bleeding Motorcycle Brakes Automotive Bleeder Screw Brake Bleeder

Pete turned me on to them, but I ended up with the wrong ones so they didn't fit, but I like the concept.

Hi Mark,

That's the one Andy (Fat Diesel) uses in His Write-Up.

The "just use gravity method" works, but takes awhile.

Fat Diesel's method takes about two beers.

The gravity method is a 12 pack.

Mark,

If you have a compressor and can order the 3-prong Ford adapter separately you can save a bunch.

I have one of those, and also a brake bleeding vacuum pump. They work in a pinch when there's no helper, but I prefer to get the wife out there to pump the brake pedal and see if I can't convince her to get dirty.
Seriously though it always seems to do a better job with a helper to push on the brake pedal when bleeding the brakes. I only use the vacuum or pressure method if I can't find a helper.

That's it. Just don't ignore it and let the reservoir run dry or air will get in the system.

I like doing my PSD maintains first thing early on Saturday or Sunday morning. I'm a morning person and the wife is not.

I don't like waiting for people when I have work to do, I'm just inpatient that way.

You can build your own out of a small chemical pump and some simple parts. It helps if you know someone with milling skills:

Yhea price sounds right. I saw them using one on an episode of Trucks. Fill er up with new fluid. Attach to master, presurize and bleed away.
