Hi its a banks sidewinder on my 1990 ford f250. want to know how to set on how much boost i am putting out. anything is helpful

 

What are you putting out now.

 

Not only your boost now but also what's your EGT's at, is your turbo a wastegate or non-wastegate system. If your in the 12psi area it's suffecient.

 

haha i have no idea .. and what is egt.. sorry im still young and new to this diesel truck ... what does the wastegate look like and what does the non wastegate look like and i mite be able to tell you from just that.

 

Knowing how much boost you are making and what the EGT's are is rather important information before you try to adjust anything.

Neither blown head gaskets or melted pistons are cheap to fix.
