I dont know if it will or not. I have found nothing that says it will. But this well give us the awnser.
I would not be surprised if it did to tell you the truth. The reason being is that operation with boost at 30+ (maybe 28+) can cause heads to begain to lift. Ford is tring very hard to reduce claims and IMO this is a good way. so at the very least a smart person would shut the truck off and wait a min then restart. this may act alone may reset the vgt and unstick the turbo for a short time.

I don't know if it does or doesn't. You know bismic, the last time I did a reflash I had to do a vgt relearn. It kind of seems similar to the way it is acting. When he flashed it last week I asked him if I need to do the vgt relearn and he said no. I didn't think you had to do that on the 05'. Maybe I am wrong. Your thoughts?

Now I don't want everyone to laugh all at once, but the other day I was driving my truck and I swear I heard something like morse code or something behind the dash. It was real faint but I did hear something I was like, what the he** is that? Weird huh? And no I don't see UFO's and aliens, or smoke wacky weed. Do drink on occasion and it might be related to being introduced to much diesel fumes.

No limp mode. Truck still runs fine.
EOT = 220 -230
ECT = 194 - 196
Loosing about a gallon of coolant evaporating every 100 miles or so. But no limp mode.
Any ideas on this issue ?
Thank you

I would first do a coolant flush to prep the system, replace the oil cooler and then test for a bad EGR cooler and replace if cracked and leaking.

Thanks.
I have already done a flush. No debris or any signs of debris.
Mall fluid came out clear. Also hard to detect any fluid coming out of any hoses or engine area.
Oil level is good.
No coolant in any of the fluids.
I am also getting a white residue blowing on top of engine area and would assume that could be the coolant lose I am getting ?
Also replaced both Engine and Coolant temp sensors. The Coolant temp sensor was rusted and almost deformed looking. Lol
Also I should have mentioned this truck was Bulletproofed if that helps you with any other thoughts ? Also running SCT Tuner.Just FYI
Thank you for any insight,thoughts or suggestions....
