well, the insurance guy said it is repairable and its now at the body shop, having issues with the claim adjuster, got wait till monday to mess with him, , and contact the body shop to ensure parts and work are going to be upto par and the same as i what i had on the truck, rancho shocks, dually leafs etc.... i have a feeling i'm going to be pissed off for a long time,
I hope everything goes well. When I got my repairs done after getting hit from behind, the insurance adjuster was the worst thing I had to deal with. I did have to get a few things tweaked by the body shop, but they did finally get everything in satifactory order. I even got some complimentary work done. The clear coat on some of the door mouldings were chipped and they re-shot them free of charge. I even got a rear pipe bumper upgrade, instead of the flimsy chrome one. After all was said and done, I ended up with a little extra money in my pocket to boot. All the body parts and decals were OEM Ford parts. No foreign crap on my baby. Overall, it wasn't too bad of an experience.
I have even recommended this body shop to a fellow co-worker who had a rear tire blow out and take out the bed side panel.
i've talked with the body shop and so far theyve been great, so well hope it stays that way...if they say what i want to hear i may just pay the extra to get the whole truck painted
