After years of waiting and saving my pennies, I finally ordered an F5 for my truck!
I went with NS/STOCK/80T/80E/120R just so I either have to go up one or go down one to get to what I need since it'll be mostly on 80E.
I was little nervous considering that my truck was flashed for an '01 engine and an '03 trans, but after talking to Jody and Diane, they put me at ease I realized I was worried over nothing...
I'm SOOOO excited and can't for it to get here, I'm finally joining the DP-Tuner Elite! Oo Oo
Jody says to look for it monday, but I hope the USPS is generous and brings it sooner! ( it's not even here and I already have a BSEG )
For those of you who are already members of the DP-Tuner Elite, post your first expressions, impressions, tips and tricks so I know what to expect...
I'm at work so I gotta tone it down, but let the countdown begin!
Congrats. Expect a huge difference. Start saving for new tires now.
EDIT: The first time I put my DP in 140, and hit the pedal, I had to get off it because I thought I was going to break something. Now I smash and dash.
A big congrats and your excited now, wait till you install it and go for your first drive, I still remember that day, what an experience. Hold on tight..
I was parked on a dirt road when I installed mine. I got in, fired it up, put it in 80E and made a dust storm. Had to switch to stock to get it on the pavement. I am used to it now and can drive anywhere in 80E.
Peter and I did ours together (holding hands) it was great. The horses didn't appreciate it much. Nor did anyone on the main road when we left my barn.

Just let the truck warm up, swtich to the 120 setting, mash it and hold on! lol
What he said!
I ran the Predator before my DP and I really like my DP! Becarefull on wet roads, in 80E I find that anything under 30mph get's me sideways when I try to merge.......LOL
I just installed mine six days ago and now want to drive the truck everyday. You will not be disapointed. My truck is so much nicer to drive so much mor responsive and crazy power. The new shifting is also very nice
u are going to absolutely love your new Chip! I would have recommended getting the F6! It is nice to Talk/Email Jody one minute and the next thing u know u have an email from him with your new tune!
Congrats on the DP. No high idle? I thought that would be useful in getting the AC working and cooling the Ex down.
I sure hope you got that Intercooler tube more round than just having me beat on it with a hammer and block of wood. Jody's tunes might be a little much for my redneck repair.
