My air bag light has been on for a while. It will blink a few times then go solid, from what I've heard the number of blinks tells you the code. I get a 32 or 33, anyone know what these mean and what I should check?
32=Driver Side Air Bag Circuit High Resistance or Open
33=Passenger Side Air Bag Circuit High Resistance or Open
Find out which one it is, then go from there. If driver's side it could be wire chaffing in the steering column, seems to happen occasionally. If passenger side, possibly a problem with the passenger deactivation switch, if you have one. I've heard if the bulb goes out in them it causes a code, new switch is spendy so most disassemble it and replace the light.
