Not to be antagonistic but if the shop is so busy that they cannot answer calls and emails they really need to hire additional staff to take on some of the load. There are to many other options to not offer good customer service. If I were to have to call and email multiple times they will never get my business.

Sorry about the rant but that is just my opinion.

They are BTS. People will find ways to get ahold of a company they want to talk to bad enough.

But that is the kind of thing as a business you can't do. It's kind of an arrogant attitude to say "well, if they want one bad enough they will figure out a way to reach us". Businesses and people are struggling everywhere and hungry for customers. It may work for them for a while but eventually someone as good or better comes along and knocks them down.

But once again. That is just "my" opinion.

Edit: This isn't meant to be any kind of attack on BTS or their product. They are proven fantastic products I just have an issue with poor customer service.

Carry on or flame away as needed. lol

You may be right, but I'll wait if need be. The fact is Brian has the 'recipe' and custom parts to build a superior transmission. I will likely never dole out the abuse his transmission build has been proven to handle without issues - but I do not want tranny to be the weak link if I change my mind!

I've seen this before with 'niche' industries. You can have ALOT more business than you can handle, but maintain the extreme level of quality that built your reputation - or you can attempt to expand to meet demand, and risk losing the quality you worked so hard to attain. The economics often do not support expansion either, you could 'lose everything' if you have to go in debt to get bigger. Plus, a family guy like Brian likely feels extreme responsibilty for anyone on his payroll - I've watched guys like that sell their dreams in 'bad times' to keep food on his employees' tables.

There are other options, but for me its gonna be BTS - even if I have to wait!!

I'm all about "business", and Brian is certainly breaking traditional rules, (like this place making you post 25 times before you get a SIG, but wait... I'm over that and STILL have no SIG... oh err, off soap box) BUT I believe it is more important to him for his customers to receive HIS level of professionalism and performance, not that of an unknown, hired hand. Really he's very down to earth, and I believe instead of pleasing the masses, he'd rather be focused and keep the customers he gets... awestruck. (That's my take, I'm not speaking for him)

Like I've said, his product needs no marketing hype, it does what he says, what's great is if it doesn't do what he says, he takes care of it period. I'm sure there are other transmission journeymen (I hope anyway), but I can't speak for them, only BTS because that is my personal experience.

Jay, you make a great point. I have heard more than one person talking about the "Hot little chick" in the office with the sexy southern accent. Where the hell is she? She should be answering the phone.

I hope the OP got ahold of them by now.

BTS will get any transmission work I have but I do understand the frustration. Put it this way.. i'm guessing if you owed them $$$ they would be calling...
