I'm looking for suggestions from people with experience with different manufacturers for a LS in my 95 F250. It's axle code 35, so an open 10.25 with 4.10's. Who are you using and where'd you buy it? Thanks.

depends on what you want the ford lockers are quiet and work good but dont hold up as well to big tires Detroit Lockers are very tough but noisier when they lock/unlock I am running 285/75/16's and am getting ready to regear and install a locker !A good place to start is Randy's Ring and Pinion on the web good prices and selection !! good luck
it is like a limited slip it pops when u are turning when they are on the front idk about the rear ones ive always had strait posi in them... if u were to get a locker i would go with the ARB air locker
Repack a factory LS for it. You can make them grab pritty hard. Or I would suggest a regular locker. Takes a little bit to get use to, but they will last a long time. If you do get a LS. Get a gear drivin one like the Truetrac, that way you never have to put new clutches in it.
I like the Trac-Loc too, it's simple, cheap to rebuild, and adjustable depending how tight you pack it. I have installed a couple Powertrax lockers in open diff carriers and got an exact 50% failure rate, 1 worked perfectly and 1 didn't at all and had to be removed.
i wont put a locker on a street truck they drive funny in turns. i would pick a ls. my old bronco with a locker broke to many axles

I also like the idea of rebuilding the factory traction lock. Thats what I did several years ago. You can get rebuilt kits for not much money and you can add a couple of clutch discs and make them tighter.
