Got my Trunk in today

I finished getting the pin stripe and the FORD logo painted on my trunk today. Put it in the back of the truck and I think it looks pretty good. Sure will be nice to have a place to put small things when we go somewhere.

It's a thing of beauty, what did it start it's life as, was it originally a cooler. Should get you lots of compliments.

That's beautiful, Don. Where did you get the trunk?

The trunk was originally mounted on a luggage rack on the back of some big ol' car back in the 30's. Not sure what the car was that it came off of. I got it at a swap meet for $100. It was in perfect shape, so I sanded it down and gave it a base coat- clearcoat paint job - same color as my fenders. My Buddy striped it for me and I did the FORD lettering.

That is a beautiful addition! Nice job of spotting it and bringing it's beauty back.

Looks great, Don. Can't wait to see it next month at the Live Oak car show.
