well i found the issue and it is surprising. The smoke i have been seeing is coming from the CDR. it may as well have been a direct tube to the oil pan. Somehow i had overfilled by a quart or so. Dead cold it was above the max fill line. I just drained the whole deal and painstakingly added new fresh oil till i hit halfway on the crosshatch. I cleaned out the cdr and it works fine like usual. I had been seeing abouttwo to three drips of oil under the bellhousing but that i think is my mysterious fuel leak that is intermittent. Sometimes three or so drops other times not at all. It is thin and dries with a ring like it was mostly fuel. Probably washing off the rear of the engine after i had that nasty bout with a front crank seal. Made a mess. After i had gotten the oil to level, i fired it up and it smoked for a second then went away. Under high rev it would blast a mist but not like it used to. When going to work, it is dark and the lights of the car behind me were showing me i had issues. It looked like a james bond car smoke trick hahaha. In the day it was noticeable at takeoff but not any other time unless i had it floored. I am making a run to town tomorrow so we shall see if cleaning it all out and having a proper level makes a diff! haha. I am also getting some DK or seafoam and running the fuel filter wash again. That helped last time but the oil came right back so no fix. In the mean time......
