Coolant filters

Anyone have a filter # for a Baldwin (or equivalent quality filter) loaded and non loaded coolant filter? My NAPA guy has no idea what a loaded coolant filter is

FIL 4070 is a filter without additive
FIL 4071 has 4 units of additive
FIL 4072 has 6 units of additive
FIL 4073 has 8 units of additive
FIL 4074 has 12 units of additive
FIL 4075 has 15 units of additive

Are those Baldwin #'s ? I thought the filters would be a loaded and non loaded , the several different types of loaded leads to the next question... How many units in the filter should the PSD use?

I run non-loaded. The smallest load was too much. It was continually over-charged.

Ditto. On my truck a two unit bottle from International took the coolant from the bottom of the range up to the middle.

The only place the precharged filters would make sense is at a coolant change. When just topping up there is too much in the filter.

Too much additive will attack the bearing in the water pump and the radiator tubes (it eats copper and both are copper). You really want to be dead center on the chart.

Mine is.

It is one of the IDI radiators that were put on for the first 7 months of the Powerstroke.
