ebpv?

I could let my truck run in the driveway for 1/2 hr, still would take a mile before she took off. NOW, I went about 5mi down the backroads and never took off? Everything is fine, starts fine, idles, and the heat works.
but when she gets up to about 30mph, feels like the damper gets slamed shut? The ebpv has been disconnected since owning the truck. One more thing, when she was running, if I stoped at a light with the heater on full
blast, she would temporarily go back into limp mode?
any ideas? thanx guys.

limp mode, means, I could hold the pedal down to the floor, and all it will do is spew black smoke out the exhaust. like its not getting any air.

2 WAG

You have lack of power. With this you go deeper into the TPS.
This now forces a TC lock. Now you have even less power.
It lugs down the motor.

Going with a power issue 1st then trans.
As rick states more info needed.
