Cab corners
How Structurally important are the rear lower cab corners on a 67 f100? There are rust in mine and I don't have access to a welder so i was thinking about fiberglassing them. Will fiberglassing work? Thanks

Cab corners
EL, You can run the truck a long time with bad corners, as it is more cosmetic than structual, but I'm sure you want your truck to look good. You can buy replacement corners to do your repairs. I have read where guys here have used compounds to stop rust. The body guys that I know say that you have to cut it out and replace it to stop the rust. I know that I have seen good looking paint with the bubbly rust reoccuring under it.

Cab corners
If you remove the rusted metal, and apply something to stop if from rusting more, then apply the fiberglass, it should last indefinately. I just replaced my cab corners on my 77 F150 Custom with new ones. It really wasnt that expensive to have them done at a welding shop. Hope this helps.
