EGR Delete Writeup?

Is there a write-up out there somewhere on how to do a full EGR delete? I wanna see what I think a out it before I decide if I want to have it done or do it myself.

I don't know if this is what you want but it is interesting reading on the subject. Read the last one first.

Thanks for the help man. That last one seems more like an entire engine disassemble than a EGR delete. If that's what it takes then I think I'll leave it up to Powerstroke Specialty. Just found out they are located less than an hour away.

If you know what the egr cooler is and where it's at it is alot of taking the top part of the engine apart. Harpooning your fuel tank was a piece of cake compared to doing the egr delete. Believe me if that pissed you off I would advise you to fork out the extra cash to have the delete done. I got pissed off numorous times doing the delete. Took me a good three days as when I got pissed I just walked away. Needless to say I wore a pathway from the garage to the house.

That was my thinking exactly. That's why I'm glad I found out powerstroke specialty is just about as close and convenient as their YouTube videos.
