I would consider IMMEDIATELY filing a complaint with the police department on that particular officer. The complaint needs to be, he was using foul and offensive language and behavior to a citizen.
GET A LAWYER to help you. It may not be that much money too. It just makes you look more professional. Check into it
You need to check the EBP sensor system.
Is the pipe clear? Does it have leaks (rotted)?
The sensor itself will go out of range from soot.
The system gets thrown out out of wack some (time to open)
with ex mods.
Its a start. First check it. Then you can tweek the opening of the valve if wanted. This ckt (electric), is what you should use if you want to make changes in the control of the valve. You would be working on the 5v ref
side and not the 12V as you have tried. If you limp the EBP sensor it will
disable the valve.
Was it gearhead who told U to install that resistor on the valve?
Coon
The EBPV opening time issue is elevated more in the E-series.
Sole reason is/was, it has a much higher flowing DP than the F-series.
tell the judge your truck is not working properly and he'll just say you shouldn't be on the road in a broken truck...then you'll get your ticket and maybe even an order to have your truck inspected...just my thoughts after a few years ( read 30 + ) dealing with these ******

No it was not gearhead that told me to put the resistor in place.... it was a personal idea that i thought of.... And after googling it, people had been doing it without issue, so i figured it would be fine.
I will look at the EBP sensor later today, and see what I can see with it. It could be it has too much soot, since the truck will put out more than normal amount of smoke...
good luck, I know what you mean by profiling. First day I put stacks on my truck going down the road doing 43 limit was 40 was keeping up with traffic and passed a cop sitting on side of road. ******* stopped me and gave me the ticket when there was 3 cars in front of me that were doing the same speed or going faster.
Good luck Matt! Just remember to be polite and dress to for court, not for school haha. Hopefully it ends the way that it should and the next time you see those ****** your can rub it in their face... with upmost respect ofcourse lol.
Well... I got it dropped down to 1 point defective headlamp, non moving violation, and 15 bucks plus court costs. I also have to take a class... Alive at 25, 4.5 hours but no big deal... glad its not a moving violation so insurance doesnt go up.... I love being 18, with a F250 and only pay 675 BUCKS A YEAR for insurance...
screw that, I would appeal that one too. I would be pi$$ed if they tried to make me take a class "alive at 25" for something that wasn't really my fault. It would be one thing if they made me do it cuz I was racing a ricer at a stop light doin 100 down a back road, in that case then I would deserve all that i got but for what happened to you I'd still be mighty ticked off.... That's just me though.
