Yeah...I have a full toolbox, usually full of tools, emergency equipment and crap. Doesnt seem like much but im sure if I tried to lift it it'd weigh 500 lbs.
Tires, suspension lifts, I bet add up to more than we realize, like you said.
I should weigh more then most of you, because I have 7 tires on my truck, counting the spare, and I have 80 pounds air in each one. Then my transfer tank, pump, tool box and my extra CPS in the glove box. I will have to see what that all comes to one day.
I have two receipts from the same scale one has me at 9600 LBS and the other at 10480 LBS.
Obviously I had more stuff in the truck the 2nd time, both times there was two of us that equals 400 lbs right there.
I have a 350 CC LB 4x4 285 on stock rims with a aluminum ladder rack (with 2 ladders on it), side boxes full of tools and more tools and stuff in the bed. I pretty much run this way all the time. Throw on the 10000 LB trailer and I combine for 20K all day all the time.
I cannot remember what mine was on the Cat scale. I will need to look that up tonight if I can remember. I am basically stock plus a topper and some tools. Lariat, auto CCLB
Count me in for right at 8,000lbs.
I've got a F350, 4x4, ex. cab, short bed. 60 gal aux tank(fuel was close to full), gooseneck hitch, DMI cushion hitch on the back to add extra weight to it.

I'm not sure if this was intended as a joke? If it wasn't so intended then be advised that it only takes a 1 pound mass (lbm) of air which weighs a 1 pound force (lbf) on a spring scale to fill a typical truck tire to an inflation pressure of 80 psig!

I was making a funny Gene. But thanks anyway Gene.
Mine is 7800# with 1/2 tank of fuel with me not in it. I also have a tool box with tools, fluids, etc. SRW, CC, LB, Lariat, auto, 4x4. Those tool boxes add up, along with your lift and heavy wheels. Truck weight seems about right from my point of view. Mine was weighed at a truck stop scale.

Yeah, I thought 8000# was about normal too.
I thought the trucks that weighed 6600..sounded too light.

Gotta slip that stuff in there now and again, see if Gene is paying attention.
Mine weighs in right at 8000 with a full tank of fuel and me in it(+225lbs). I have 35 inch tires and a leveling kit, but other than that there is no extra weight.
