2009 Front Spring question, plz help

My 2009 F250 came with the option ( 67H ) which is called "Heavy Service Suspension Package", it states usage:
Recommended only on vehicles which will permanently utilize aftermarket equipment such as heavy duty winches, brush guards or other apparatus which loads the front axle to the specified Gross Axle Weight Rating ( GAWR )

Not available with Snow Plow Package, Camper Package, or Stabilizer Package.

Includes:
Heavy service front springs ( 1 upgrade above the spring computer selected as a consequence of options chosen. Not included if maximum springs have been computer selected as standard equipment )
NOTE 1, Vehicle ride height will increase w/the addition of this package

This is my question, how much different is this over the snow plow package, the sheet I have says for Snow Plow Prep:
Computer selected springs for snow plow application
Extra Heavy Duty Alternator.

Are both the spring upgrades the same, if not how do I find that out and the difference between the two??

Thanks guys !

I think they are the same, too. Which engine do you have and what's your front axle rating on your door sticker?

Mine door tag says 5200 lb but is that also because it's a V-10 and does not have the weight as a diesel ??

Guess I'm wondering if the diesel in the same package as mine would be 6000...?

I think that the snow plow prep package gives you the heaviest front springs at 6000# while the heavy service package just bumps you up a notch from whatever you would have been given by the computer selection process, which as stated above selects springs based on options and packages chosen.

My truck came with 4800# front springs and I had a shop make up an extra leaf to bring it up to 6000# since my plow weighs around 900#.

If you have the Heavy service package that is a 1 up over standard. So if you door sticker says 5200 lbs thats with the heavy service package. I would guess the standard weight would have been 4800 lbs and I would also guess the snow plow package would be 5600 lbs the same as the extra heavy service package.

My F350 chassis cab comes standard with 4800 lb springs and the snow plow prep package came with 5600 lb springs. The 6000 lb springs are only offered in the chassis cab with the ambulance package. I would guess the 6000 lbs springs are not offered in your case either unless you can get the ambulance package for your truck.

stock is 4800
heavy service is 5200
plow is 6000
I had heavy service as the would not let me option a super cab or crew cab with an 8 ft bed and plow springs.
they said payload plus 4 fat guys in the cab and a plow would cause frame damage not covered by warranty.
that being said I bought and installed my own plow springs and it brought up the front end so the truck sits level.

What yr. truck do you have and where did you get your springs from ?? My truck sits level now until the plow is put on..then it drops about an inch or so with the plow raised, an no balast in the back. I prefer it not drop at all.

Thank You
