Need Title/ Info
Hi , hopefully you can help me , i saw old post a while ago back in 08 regarding titles i just recently got a 94 ford ranger for $300.00 , and they gave me a title but i just found out today goin to the dmv the title shows when the vechile was sold to this person i bought it from , also i got an affidavid from this person because shes in the hospital and was sayin its ok for her son to sell the truck but he doesnt have power or attorney just the paper , i was wondering i saw old post about goin to the dmv to register for a manufacturers vin number is it even legally possible to work in this came because now i cant get in touch with the son currently, so i dont know what to do is there any obviously legal way around this but also i have seen online about theres ways to get a title like at this link Lost Title for Car: Replacement Car Title with International Title Service , but am i even able to do that legally , please let me know as soon as possible , i dont know what to do or should i sell it for parts

Is this a Florida title? The site you posted looks shady to me. No where does it say it applies to Florida.
As for the the son signing the title. If the person signing the title is not the person on the title, you need a power of attorney.
Besides, if she can sign a piece of paper saying her son can sell the truck, why can't she sign the title.
The whole thing sounds fishy. All you have now is a truck you can't get a title for, and 300.00 less in your wallet.

yes its a florida title , yeah i wasent sure about the site that why i wanted to ask , as far as the actual title i got the paper from the dmv for power of attorney so then the son can sell the vechile , well sounds stupid now but i got the title that she got when she bought the truck from the last person , i dont have a title that shows her name as the seller and on the affidavid the son wrote wrong seller , i guess thinkin that was enough to apply for title but no , and now i gota try to find the sons number , other then that i dont know what else to do
