I have found a 1999 7.3 powerstroke 1 and a half hours away from my house. It looks great and has 36 super swampers with 20" chrome rims. All leather interior. The problem is they only want $4,400 for it. To me it sounds to good. I emailed the guy and he said they are moving so he needs to hurry and sell it. Im afraid that im going to buy it and the engine is going to go out. here is some info on it:

I second what Mike said, sounds like a scam. I know on the local kijiji the scammers always post sweet deals on very cool items, and it gets easy to tell which is which. If the guy mentions anything about sending cash to him firs tor blah blah blah, then you know right there its a scam!

If its not a scam, go out and buy it, its worth that with no motor in it.

 

I have found this truck in California, Illinois, Colorado, Iowa and Texas. Its a scam, Run forrest run !!!!!!!!

 

If it was me and I had the money I'd buy it. That's a smokin deal. Either way, if you have to put about 5.6K into that thing you're coming out at 10K into that truck which is about what it's worth. With 5.6K you can get a lot done on these trucks. If you had to you could rebuild the motor with that much doh. If you did it yourself that is.

 

Not that we are trying to steal the deal away from you but would you be willing to post the link to the ad for the truck? That way we could see if it shows up other places like Jeff has found.

My son checked out an ad in the Waterloo, Iowa craigslist for a Tahoe. Turned out the car was in New York. That was the end of that.

 

Check the dates on the ads, they are not the same. some more then a month apart. Like I said, run Forrest run!!!!!

If I reply to an ad that looks too good to be true I ALWAYS insist on seeing the item.
In the reply I say "where can the item be seen? You know, to avoid those A$$ H@LE scammers". Funny, I never seem to get a reply
