Need a hand - Rocky

[I]Was out doing the brakes and the oil and decided to check to see why my belt is making so much noise. Pulled the tensioner over and wired it to the fender like always and started to checking each one, till I came across the PWR-Steering Pump. It moves in and out about a 1/8 inch but there is no radial (side to side) movement. There are no leaks.

I was think about living with it a while longer before I get the puller and pull the pully. Whatcha think?

Pully

I had seen that some other PSP replacements came with a bolt on pully that replaced the pressed. Anyhow this will be my first one to do on this truck, info on the reinstall would help. I think I have the removal part down pat.

Thanks in advance

axial plat isn't a problem if the pump is still pumping enough pressure and not leaking, mine has had that much play as long as I have owned the truck.

Mine has that much play in it too Rocky. Works good and doesn't leak at all (knock on wood). It is a bit noisy though.

Thanks for the replies Hilfixer and Pete. It is making some noise, I think I will put a little PS Fluid on the outside and see if it will quite down.
