ok so i have a 95 psd, its my first with 327k so im still geting used to the diesel. i ahve already changed the oil. now im getting ready to get the tranny flushed and put in a new filter, change the fuel filter, and put in my new 6637 kit from riffraff when i get it thanks to you guys talking me into it. so im wondering if there is anything i should know about the tranny filter, fuel filter or 6637 kit that is out of the norm.
oh and im doing all the brakes what about those are those special or just another brake job?i know its a loaded question but anything helps thanks, blake
6637's a piece of cake but I believe you will find a sensor in the bottom of the air box upon it's removal, most of us just wire tie it off to the side or shove it into the inner fender. As for the Fuel filter, as long as you got it apart, may be a good time to replace the o-rings on the filter drain valve on the pass front corner of the fuel bowl, they tend to break down and leak with age.. Brakes? rotors on the 4x4 models can be expensive and a royal pain! I've found buying really cheap pads and shoes is the way to go as I'd rather replace them every 2 years or so vice rotors and drums!!
