Fuel pressure gauge install
I took pictures of everything and opened a photobucket account, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put them in a post. So I am going to use the attachment option here. I hope they are not too large and offensive. I will work on the other methods
Basically I just got a 0-100lb fuel pres gauge, some aeroquip line, and cut a hole in the pretty little fuel bowl cover. I then inserted a 1 7/8 in rubber grommet for vibration dampening and installed everything. Easy job really.
Can you toss up some part numbers and hose/connections/Grommet/Gauge.. I just might get one installed..
I also see that you swapped the GP relay and AIH relay around. The Gp relay die and your using the AIH ?
I like the AIH Riff plug.. I need to get one of those..
From photobucket. copy/paste the entire image code to your post.. It looks like this.

The part #'s are as follows---Allstar Performance gauge, 1.5 in. 0-100 lbs, # 80216.
Allstar Perf. fitting #50200, -4 to 1/8th NPT
Allstar Perf. fitting #50001, -4 to 1/8th NPT
Alstar Perf. -4 to -4, sorry no part #
Allstar Perf. 15" #3, brake hose, -4 str. to -4 str. Part # 48132
I went to a friend at a body shop and got the grommet. None of the parts stores had one that size.
The fitting size on the gauge and the filter bowl housing is a #4. I had to use a fitting for the aeroquip line, ( -4 str to -4 str ) and grind the bevel off and add an o-ring to make it fit the filter bowl housing. I'm sure they make one just for that, but I had it apart in the driveway when I discovered I didn't have the right one at 4.30PM.
I hope this helps. Allstar Performance is a line that a local speed shop uses and he says he uses this gauge on his race cars.
As for the relays---I did not swap them. The only other person that has worked on the engine is...you guessed it, FORD.
Maybe the relays are not swapped.. From the picture it looks like the taller one is in the rear.. Maybe not.
