Custom Tune Question

I have a quick question on a custom tune for those of you who have done custom tunes with the SCT X/SF3. I have been playing e-mail tag with Innovative, Eric seems to be busy and I have not had a chance to call him yet.

Do you run a log on your truck and then e-mail that to them? If so, how? In other words, 50mph on flat ground, or 70mph hilly, etc?

Or do you just give them your mods and the tune you want and they e-mail you?

Let me know as I have time tonight to run the log if it is required. LOL

Thanks!

when you get your SCT you will hook it up and pull your trucks strategy. email that information and what ever mods you have done to the truck to Eric. he will reply with the tunes you ordered. simple.

as scameron stated.
send them the strategy, get your tunes next day. (well..... I did)

ALSO
I have seen on this site a BUNCH from someone, included my strategy, those worked great two, you just have know idea what mods they were made for. (now I just use the ones I bought)

Now I just leave it with my tow tune from eric.

Im likeing the Tow tune w/Jake Brake as well from ID. I am doing some more mods: 3.5" downpipe, EGR delete bypass pipe and cat delete. I wonder if this will effect the tune I have?

Go for the 4" downpipe. I had no issues installing it.

I went w/the 3.5" after researching the 3.5 and 4 option on this site. Not trying to be arguementative, please NO, just suggesting that You read up and make it work for your application and expectations

For towing the 3.5 is a better application?

Mine is 3.5 down and rest of the way, just what was ordered. Why would 3.5 inch be better for towing? I so do not get that. I can understand going to 5 inch or something can hurt performance.

OKay, I need more detail I guess. I am sure i will stumble on the answer the second I ask this. I purchased my X3 SCT elsewhere on the web. I really want a custom IDP tune by Eric. If i purchase the add on extreme tune $80 from the site, how do I go about giving him my strat as well as list of what I am after and my trucks mods?

That said what all info in needed to get this right the first time? I had an email from him in the past however I cant locate where I saved it detailing what info needed to custom burn a tune.

Thanks all.

Send an e-mail to Eric letting him know which tune(s) you want, arrange for payment, and send him your strategy with a list of existing mods done to the vehicle.. You'll receive the tune(s) shortly thereafter..
