Gettin ready for this weekend, gonna do all eight cups, does anyone have any last minute advice for me, gonna get the right tools for the job, gonna do all injector o rings, oil pan, got a sweet big ol bag of orings from clay, and a bunch of other things while the motor is on a stand... Just not 100% on the cup install....
I just did one last night. So the only advice I can give you is to make sure the head is nice and clean before install, and the manual tells you to turn the tap into the old cup 1and a 1/2 turns with that I pulled the tap out not the cup so I went 3 and a 1/2 and that did the trick. Good luck.
Thanks for all the help, got the tool from clay at riffraff, its commin soon, as soon as i get it ill install the cups, what did you use to clean the head after the cup was removed, did you use locktite and if so where on the cup did u put the locktite, gonna do all eight cups and o rings. wish i had the extra cash for the bellowd up pipes but they will have to wait. the factory ones were really clean, no soot or any signs of leaking.... thanks for all the help everyone...
