Well my sisters 97 F150 2wd needs $1200 worth of rear end work, ring/pinion/bearings ect..... so says the dealer/stealership.
So I am looking for a compatible complete rear end to put under it, any one got a lead on one IM me please. I'm not sure of the ratio yet, it drives fine, just growls and groans.
I haven't called around Springfield JY yet, just putin the word out to all.
I've gone thru lots of rear ends and never paid that much to get them fixed. I'd check out a few 4x4 shops and see what they charge to replace all the parts. Safari Off Road here in Nixa is one to check out. Or there's a clutch and differencial place on Kearny, I can't think of the name, but I got my drive shaft fixed there.
Hello Misery. Going to be out for a while today. Promised a friend to help him. Something about the church is taking toys downtown to a school or something. Should be back this afternoon sometime.
