Well we finally got the superduty out. It took a 200hp John deer 4x4 tractor. We broke 1 chain, 3 straps (oil field crane straps) and a braded cable sling that was rated for 60,000#. Here are the pics.
Those pics caused this.
The transfer case is broke in half. The truck was sitting on the frame. The only thing that I can figure happened was when we pulled it out the mud jamed against the transfer case and the pressure broke it. this could have been prevented with a skid plate.
Robert, man, looks like that was a real mess, sorry about your transfer case, but being the good mechanic that you are, you'll have it back up and running in no time, a few years ago we used to get all boozed up & go out just to see if we could get stuck, and use the winch to get out, there was only one time we ever got in so bad we had to get more than that to get out, it was just about as big a mess as you had, but not quite, I beleive you get the PRIZE
Well I have been laying under my truck with a pressure washer for the last couple hours. My truck will never be like that again. I still have alot of cleaning to do.
Ken, good to see you on here, You should know I would be getting ready for the game, I went to the Texas Chapter and did a little post, trying to get some reaction, but, no one in Texas seems to care one way or the other, maybe if you went over there and stirred the pot a little they would come alive!!!
