Low Idle

Hey guys I was just wondering what my truck should be idling at. I think my truck may be idling about a 100 rpm to slow and is causing a vibration in the floor boards and causing the heat shields to rattle. Please let me know. Thanks

i thank mine idles about 700-750 rpm. dut i may be wrong.

I think mine is around the same but when im stopped at a red light it idles down lower in drive and in reverse and causes the heat shields to vibrate and causes a vibration in the floor boards. Its just really annoying.

you may just have a loose heat shield. get some one to hold the brack with it in gear and get under it to see which one it is. but i would proble pull close to a tree also so it cant roll forward, just to be safe.

haha I know which one it is i just dont whether i should weld it on or just rip it off. havent decided yet. I was just thinking that maybe my idle was to low.
