Lost my smoothness

Tonight I noticed a tinest change in sound of the truck at idle like it is idling up and down just a smidgen...looked at the tach and idles from 674 to 681....all summer stayed steady at 680rpm's during idle. No changes except 3 tanks without my DK or anything else for that matter. What would be the cause?

I would start by putting some DK back in and see what happens.

hey i was working on the ipr from the suggestions on a stream from one of kwikkordeads notes. If the ipr 3/4 nut is loose it wont run right.

I agree that Dk should be re-added to see if that is the problem....seems odd that an additive would casue that.....?

why does it seem odd? that stuff works wonders and will make your truck run very smooth and quiet along with cleaning and everything else it does.
an hpx line might help you out a little as far as the smoothness.

Maybe they are starting to use winter blend fuel in your area?

Funny you say that because after I posted, I had that thought when I was reading a little furtehr down the line...but none the less...need to return to the DK though for sure
