good work !!! i really envy you guys who have the skills and patience to do metal work and body work . never could get the hang of it , probably why i prescribed to the look / theory with my cars of look like sh-t and run like h--l . as far as getting dark early i really hate it . i get up at 2 am at work by 4 , it's still dark and get done / home at 630 pm . and geuss what it's dark then . it sucks ! plus were 'sposed to get snow in the next couple days and i travel a lot of little county roads , and state routes that seem to get forgotten and it's a beeeotch to see 'em in the dark !the worst part of the snow and ice is how all the peeps have forgotten how to drive in it and we have to play car hockey . oh well that's why i get paid what i do ...................while i had my one ton in it's original car hauler form it sat in the winter covered up as i , even with a garage, couldn't get the big ol' girl inside !!!!!!!!! it was 26 foot long from tip to tip on the frame and the bed / platform was another four foot longer giving it a total length of 30 feet . didn't quite fit in doors !!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, working outside does stink. If you're working on Abby completely in the open (hope the church will grant you a spot) it makes my workplace seem luxurious. The goal was to get the cab off so I could get the rolling chassis in a garage stall (which still needs to be cleaned out) before the snow flew. The cab on chassis won't clear the 7' door and the clearance lights add another couple inches of interference. In spite of being granted all kinds of weather leeway this fall, I still didn't make it - it's starting to fly now. Ohh well....
