1947 Frame Width

1947 Frame Width

First time posting in the '47 forum!

I found a 1947 Ford 1 ton truck cab and I was thinking it would make an awesome 4x4 project. (I have had this idea floating around for quite awhile.)
So before I jump right in I would like some rough measurements.

I need to know what the length and width of the frame is.
If you happen to have one laying around, let me know! Thanks!

I do happen to have one laying around. I will get the measurements tommorow. These frames are more narrow than that of a newer truck. And are not the same width all the way down the frame. They taper a little closer towards the front. I will get some measurements though.

Overall length from one end of the frame to the other would be great.

I need the width where the cab bolts up more than anything. But whatever measurements you can get for me is good.

The lengths are different but the width should be the same as the 1/2 ton. I posted some measurements of my 1/2 ton in this post.
