Man It's got to feel good to see something going back together. Been working on my floor pans and firewall with the cab off. Can't wait to get where you are.
looks great. I know what you mean by getting a new kick, I have been messing around on my sandblasting and priming the cab and have just scored a 350 and trans. and now I'm getting a second wind, if I ever get this shop out of the ground, I can really get something going. Good luck on the rest of the project-got a good place to work in.
Mike
I'm really excited just seeing it roughly how it will look, it's all coming back apart again to do body work. I might blow up a picture to hang on the wall for motivation.
I was gone for a couple of days for Thanksgiving but got a chance to mess with the truck for a few hours today and cleaned up the outside of one of the fenders, they might look like they are primed in the picture but that is a heavy coat of surface rust. They were dipped about 20 years ago and have sat uncoated since.
I was just thinking while i was out there that if I keep at it I could possibly have everything together by spring, Icould pull the motor and tranny out of the Fairlane, drop them in and be ready for the Power Tour in early June. Well maybe not.
