I was wondering if anyone knew what year Ford started putting the LATCH system in their Crew Cab F-250 and F-350's, or if they ever did? I tried a search, but came up with nothing.
Not in my 06 either, but I do have the tether connection behind the seat but not the LATCH. I have to use the seatbelt. Not to hijack or anything but does anyone know of a way to add it to these trucks?
My 07 does not have it.
I took some chain and ran it to the seat mounting bolts and put the latch buckles to the chain and then also used the seat belts. I have 3 car seats across my back seat and they do NOT move.
It is sad that Ford does not think they are needed in our trucks.
Do they think we don't have kids.
I also got a buckle ratchet set up that goes on the seat belt and it REALLY snug the seat down. It works like a ratchet strap. I got them from Babies-R-Us.

Do you know if the 2006 is the first year for the tethter?
My '04 has the tethers behind the seat, but obviously not the LATCH. My wife's '01 Taurus has the LATCH and its really nice. Wish there was a good way to add it to our trucks.
Another problem I'm going to need to solve before long is the shoulder belt for the rear center seat position in a pre 2008 truck. My little one's gonna be moving up to a booster seat before long.
