High Idle mod

Anyone done a high idle mod on their truck? Do U have a write u on it? I found one but it is for the OBS trucks and I was not sure if the iring ad chaged color codes or not

I would have done it but high idle is #2 on my DP tuner. And its clean and works great.

I have an older 6 pos DP. no high idle on it. Thats fine tho. I can do this one and now I can change the idle speeds on it too.

I had Jody add the 1200 rpm high idle when I live tune at RRE, but I still have my DIY one. I still use when I am by myself and want raise the rpms while looking at things. Mine peaks @ ~2400-2600. I can't remember what resistor I used to limit the high side, but on the low side the adjustment is a bit touchy. The chip tune is more precise.

Ok, Well completed the mod and I am pretty happy with it. One question. once I set the idle at around 1100 rpm using the POT. If I turn the high idle off, then back on again. It is not at 1100.... I have to fine tune it with the POT again to 1100. Is this the norm? Just curious
