Looking for help
I have a 2006 f150 with 28000 miles on it. The ABS system is having problems. I was wondering if any one else is having issues. I had a sensor replaced on the rear and need to get the module replaced. The truck has not been abused. Any help would be great.
when you start the truck or turn the key to "ON" the ABS runs something similar to a continuity test to see that all the wires and sensors are connected and not broke. The light goes out in 3 seconds if all is OK... Now you start moving. Once you get above 5 mph the ABS runs another check to see if it sees speed signals from all sensors and they look similar in value... If not, the light comes back on meaning ONE of the sensors has bad output.. With the correct reader you can also get the CODE and know exactly what is happening.
