How do you get that front lower intake plenum bolt out on the right side? I had to pull the turbo to get one of the back ones on the left side now the front on the other side is jammed into the HPOP resovoir. Thats not coming off. I know there is a trick to these things, just can't see it.
It's on my 94 powerstroke f350.
If it's the one I am thinking of, it's the same corner either way (heads are the same just flopped front to back.)
And that hole in the intake is notched, so all you do is back the bolt out a little then the intake slides out from under it.
It wasn't notched on either of my trucks. It is now though. I got mad and took and cut a slot in it with a chisel to slide the intake out then I notched it.
Those things were leaking terrible on my truck. Boost pressure was barely 10 psi cold. about 5 when it was hot. Less than half of what my 97 gets. All that was wrong was all the sealant was blown out under the plenums and they were loose.
