Get the LSD, it has more lubricity than the ULSD and your truck will run better and get better mileage with it. I fill up with LSD whenever I find it. Unfortunately, the closest station I know of that carries it is over 100 miles away.

Yes it is better for our old technology trucks. Just make sure it is ON Highway fuel(taxed), and not OFF ROAD(un taxed)

I'd gladly pay as much as 10% more for LSD over ULSD.

It's okay in all PSDs up to 2007. Don't run it in a 2008+ unless the DPF has been deleted.

The reason LSD is bad in the newer trucks is because of the DPF. Higher sulfur content will clog up the DPF quicker.

Since our trucks don't have DPF's, then it doesn't matter. LSD or ULSD can both be run in our trucks.

The energy content of LSD is slightly higher than ULSD, so you get a tad bit better mileage on LSD. People prefer LSD for this reason. Unfortunately, LSD will soon disappear forever.

Is it just me or is ALL the good stuff fading away in our generation? Most is because of Governmental restrictions.

Weird. I've never seen that. Most stations just converted over to ULSD.

I haven't seen any LSD for over a year. There are a few stations in Eastern Ky that still have the LSD stickers on the pumps, but it's not what comes out.
