Yesterday my stepson Randy and I swapped out my heads and injectors. I had to drive 45 miles to use a buddies garage so we didn't get started till 11am. We pulled the engine, swapped the heads and injectors ( I now have arp studs in anticapation of a turbo) and dropped it back in the truck. We finished up and had it on the road agian by 3 am this morning. The truck runs a lot better now with all the valves seating and injectors popping lol. we would have been done sooner but I forgot my chilton manuel and had t o wait for my baby to bring it to us and Randy broke a fuel line tee at 1 am and we had to make a 30 mile run to an autozone that is open 24/7 so that a couple of hours or so. All in all it wasn't that bad and we were determined to have it done.
nice job.pretty hard to beat the feeling of fixing it up and having it run like it should...............im still waiting for that feeling lol.but im getting closer!
