What a day

Yesterday my stepson Randy and I swapped out my heads and injectors. I had to drive 45 miles to use a buddies garage so we didn't get started till 11am. We pulled the engine, swapped the heads and injectors ( I now have arp studs in anticapation of a turbo) and dropped it back in the truck. We finished up and had it on the road agian by 3 am this morning. The truck runs a lot better now with all the valves seating and injectors popping lol. we would have been done sooner but I forgot my chilton manuel and had t o wait for my baby to bring it to us and Randy broke a fuel line tee at 1 am and we had to make a 30 mile run to an autozone that is open 24/7 so that a couple of hours or so. All in all it wasn't that bad and we were determined to have it done.

If I had broken that fuel line at 1 AM, I think I would have called it a day. But then I'm 72 years old and not as tough as I used to be. LOL

I admire you.

Thanks, I just wanted it done. Getting older does suck, I am only 41 but I am still sore today. Wish I was 21 ago like my step son lol.

I wish my the people that help me were enthusiastic enough to stay up until 3 a.m., it seems like all my help wants to quit as soon as it's dark! Haha
